Guardians

Guardian Home

****************************

The Guardian Program allows us to grow our program and continue to improve our breeds without sacrificing our dog’s happiness and desire for love and attention. While we’d love to keep all our dogs with us, we recognize they are happier with more one-on-one attention than we can give them.

Guardian Home Requirement

Becoming a Guardian Home requires you to provide basic dog care necessities, such as food, annual check-ups, and vaccines. You can rest assured that we will cover all breeding-related expenses, including health testing, x-rays, progesterone testing, and any additional care required during the whelping or breeding process. However, we understand that this opportunity may not be suitable for everyone. It is crucial that you are willing and able to meet these requirements.

If you are a guardian of a female dog, you must be willing to drop her off for 1-2 weeks while she is bred. Then drop her back off 1 week prior to her whelping date. She will stay with us at our house until the puppies are weaned around 6 weeks of age.

If you are a guardian of a male dog, you must be willing to drop him off for 3-5 days for breeding unless arrangements are made ahead of time for us to pick him up. Sometimes we are able to come to you for breeding. In the rare cases, we use AI, we will work to schedule an appointment with the vet and arrange all the details.

Be able to communicate with us, the breeder, about scheduling testing, mating, whelping, and anything else breeding-related.
