When the weaning process starts, puppies move to a large playpen in our living room — right in the middle of everyday life. They hear and see loud televisions, stereo music, vacuums, doorbells, ringing phones, doors opening and closing, thunder and rain sounds, and clanging kitchen pots and pans.
By the time our poodle puppies are ready for their new homes at approximately 8 weeks old, they’ve already been exposed to most of the household situations they’ll encounter with their new families.
In-person pickup only. No delivery. Loving, smart, and endlessly affectionate companions raised right in our home.
Every single one of our litters is raised right in the heart of our home—we are a family, not a puppy store! Around 5 weeks of age, we gently begin the weaning process, so that by the time they reach 8 weeks, the puppies are fully and happily transitioned to solid food.
To protect the health and peace of our mamas and their newborns, our whelping area remains a private, germ-free sanctuary. However, once the puppies are a bit sturdier (around 7 weeks old), we would love to schedule an appointment for you to visit! We have a cozy, dedicated guest room set up where you can safely snuggle and bond with your puppy while keeping outside germs to a minimum.
If we currently have a puppy who is already old enough and ready to join their new family, we would love to schedule a special meet-and-greet so you can come and get acquainted!
Whenever you feel ready to take the next step, we invite you to fill out our puppy questionnaire. We will reach out as soon as we can to connect! After we speak, a $500 non-refundable deposit will officially reserve your spot. We generally wait until a litter is born to accept deposits so we know exactly who has arrived.
Puppies are chosen in the order that deposits are received, and you will get to pick out your new best friend on the very same day you take them home at 8 weeks old! Please note that the remaining balance is due at pickup, and because our puppies are sold as family companion, we do require a signed spay/neuter contract. Puppies go home with up-to-date vaccines, microchip (if desired), health guarantee and a bag of food.
